internet is everything

living in cardiff
basically, the life here is very relaxing, no stress, no rush, low efficient.
daily life
at the first 2--3 days here, i was busying tidying up my room, always holding the map on my hand, shopping the the supermarket, crazy for getting a sim card for mobile phone and get online in my room, getting to know the place and stores around....etc.
where i live is actually very convenience, i walk to school, walk to supermarket, walk to the city centre, walk to the bank, walk to the train station, walk to everywhere. so i didn't take any public transportation since in arrived. u can imagine, i walk all day long.
only i don't know if i can walk to the chinese church, i will know it very soon
what do i do here?
my normal class will start next week, during these 2 week my tasks are:
school enrolment, student ID, international student information fair, campus tours, orientation seminars, society fair, sports fair, pay school fee, library introduction, department introduction, program welcoming talk....etc.
well, everyday i will have just 1-3 things to do, in hk that is what we have to do in 2 hrs.
everyday i wake up, breakfast, complete one task , go back to hall , take a rest, make something to eat, complete another task in the afternoon, go back to hall , take a rest, make something to eat, shower, online and sleep. i do sleep very early here, before 11 really.
i have 4 flatmates, all together with me is 5:
1. me
2. girl from china
3. guy fr india
4. guy fr uk 5. indian guy fr uk (born and grown here, actually very english)
all of us are doing master degree, and so far all these people are clean and tidy, so the kitchen is very fine!
something fun/interesting to share:
~ scholarship: i met a malaysian, he is under scholarship of an oil mining company, and he has contract with the scholarship funder that he has to work for the company for 10 years!!!!!!!!!
~ free ice cream: yesterday was the "local companies information fair" (something like mega sales in hk), people are giving leaflet around, doing promotion and stuff like that. i was on my way the the resident meeting (fire safety, cleaning, laundry and stuff like that), a girl on the street was shouting "sign up and win a free ice cream". i stopped, looked at her, and asked "really?" she said "yes!" and than i signed up, got an ice cream. but i simply don't know what did i signed up for.
~ my cousin's visit: the sweetest thing in uk for me is my cousin's visit. sam is the son of my dad's brother, he lives in brimingham, 2 hrs driving fr here. last sun he came here, bought me a lot of food and daily necessities, took me out to lunch and i , in retuned, cook him a dinner.
something ridiculous to share:
~i have to pay for printing at school! it is 6p/sheet (HKD0.92)
~to wash clothes cost 1.5 pound (HKD24), and another 50p(HKD8) for 20 mins drying
~need to pay for all sports facilities at school, gym, swimming pool and everything

leaving hk

the very last day @ BBTC (my previous work)

Jacky Lau
Cai Hall O-camp
Cai Hall O-camp
